3 Mural Marketing Tips To Grow Your Business

Updated: Oct 18, 2022

The pressure of marketing your business can feel crippling. Most business owners don’t have time to fixate on social media campaigns or running ads. Luckily, murals offer opportunities for your customers to do your marketing FOR YOU.

It’s important to work smarter and not harder when it comes to spreading the word about your business. Here are 3 creative ways to use your mural as an organic marketing tool.

1. Run a limited time competition for best photo with your mural.

To do this, first create an incentive for people in the community to partake in your competition (maybe offering one of your products for free). Then post the rules of your competition on your social media accounts. Create a hashtag for people to use when they post their photo and then select a winner from the entries!

2. Offer a free sticker of your mural to every person who posts and tags your mural in a photo.

This is a double marketing hack. By posting a photo on their social accounts, customers spread the news about your business to everyone they know online. When you reward them with a sticker, you’re not only thanking them for their support, but you’re getting even more eyes on your brand through people who see your sticker in person. An obvious win win.

3. Make your mural interactive.

If you’re feeling extra creative, make your mural interactive. Hide secret messages in the painting or design the mural in a way that invites people to complete the motif. The more time you get people to spend thinking about your painting, the more likely they are to remember it and share with friends.

Marketing doesn’t have to be pushy or annoying. In fact, the most effective marketing is the kind that involves customers and leaves them with a unique and fun experience.
